A child playing with a little plastic Godzilla figurine is mixing reality and imagination. In their hand is a bit of plastic shaped to look like Godzilla. In their mind, they have a 200-foot monster exhaling lasers. By playing, they create a combination of inner and outer realities. They simultaneously experience both the plastic toy and the giant monster in their imagination. My work touches the moment when the outer and inner worlds coincide.
